☆ real life recs ☆
wander around with no mission in mind. splurge on a $10 soft serve from erewhon. buy 10 cassettes to split with your friend even though you don’t have a cassette player. leave said cassettes at a book store and pray nobody steals them (they didn’t). spend half an hour with your friend laughing while reading the “big penis book” from taschen. smoke if you feel like it. don’t if you don’t. ask that girl for her number because you’ll never see her again anyway.
☆ how to spend a perfect sunday ☆
wake up eventually, no alarm
hit your nic stick for that dopamine rush
rot in bed for an hour or two
make breakfast
wash your face and brush your teeth
sit on the couch, stuck, not knowing where to begin with the endless list of what to do
think about how you could do errands or book a flight or do taxes or visit your friends or read or do work or
take a walk, smoke a cigarette
gain sense of direction because you realize that your end can start whenever you want it
to buy ice cream and read
people watch and see familiar faces and new ones
go home
do work
admire the sunset and yearn for your childhood
make dinner
take a bath for two hours
smoke a joint
watch a movie until you fall asleep on the couch
and regret staying up so late
what a blessing it is to see another day, and tomorrow i can try again.
☆ good food ☆
oysters, escargot, $6 pad thai, rest in peace to my favorite hole in the wall pho spot, street tacos, drunk chocolate chip cookies, the best homemade tomato sauce, and porkchops.
hey, have the best day
i love this.
