fraser:
Hey lovers. What a pleasure. I basically forced Joss to let me write for this.
I love inserting myself into Joss’s life. I’m pro by now. First, I gatecrashed her party before ever meeting her. Then, I made her work hire me. Then, I made sure I sat directly next to her in the office. Now, I’m here.
I’m Fraser. I’m currently a teacher and host of a podcast called J’obsessed.
Enjoy my mind scribble.
oh shit! the most beautiful man in the world is gracing us with his taste
this is the online bit
This guy is a tiktok cutie. A straight up hottie.. He knows it, but that’s ok. Basically, this guy is a smug, cute, presumed actor who creates silly little skits and capitalises on grey shorts that are a couple sizes too small. I’m not complaining, do your thang bb. His sxc British accent, sharp schnoz and well-groomed moustache are very much where it's at. His meant to be funny, which sometimes he is… sometimes he’s not. He’s just very good looking and has charisma and that’s enough to make me keep double-tapping his vids..
*Redacted* - I’m off this dude ^^ New tik tok crush unlocked though.. his name is @ricotaquito

This is a little half-hour Spotify playlist that I curated for myself - and now you. It’s early-mid 2000 female-led pop nostalgia that I know we all love (if you disagree you’re in denial). The tunes evoke a blend of feelings between “bitch you got this” and “my life is a mess rn”. The result is a quick 30 mins of self-loathing pity-fest that I reckon we should allow ourselves. Because sometimes, being positive all the time is HARD. Yessss I know, we gotta shake it off, make our beds, go for a run, eat a banana blah blah blah. But can we do it after a throwback Jessica Simpson or Mariah Carey anthem? The answer is yes.
The Pattern is a horoscope app much like Co-Star, but this one doesn’t bully you. Now, as much as I like to say I’m not into astrology, I read this shit every day. And I actually remember I used to read my horoscope each morning in the paper before going to primary school. So, I suppose I’m an astrologer from way back.
The Pattern is really detailed, and I like that it just makes me pause for a min and reflect.. And also tell me about my next 10 month relationship cycle (lol).
this is the irl bit
Finasteride 1mg & Minoxidil 1mg
Story time.. When I was 18 I moved to Melb-town. I was deeply closeted. I started doing a law degree. Basically, I had no fucking idea who I was or what I was doing. At that stage, I hated the city, hated law, and loved dudes - these were issues. Anyway, I was so stressed that my hair started to fall out.. Like fully start to fall out. It became whispy as, and this was scary for an 18yo.
I went to a dermatologist who got me onto Finasteride and Minoxidil to prevent hair loss and promote hair growth. I’ve been taking these lil pills daily for like 7 years now and still have hair (literally touching wood as I type this). Anyway, I reckon it’s time I pay homage to these bbs.
Natural Pools
If anyone has one of these irl please hit me up. I have been dreaming about them for years, and one day I will own one. Basically, natural pools are just pools with an epic filtration system that means you don’t need any chemicals. Usually, people have aquatic plants in them, and they are places that ecosystems (ribbit amirite) can thrive. They’re like a chic pond and I need one. Here’s one I saw on Grand Designs a couple months ago that I haven’t stopped thinking about. They also include a ‘how to’... let’s get digging.
yuM! are you serious!?!?
My Thoughts Exactly, Lily Allen
In 2018 Lily released a book (that I read last month) and I loved it. This is coming from someone who generally dislikes biographies btw.
It starts off as a love letter to her daughters. It’s confronting, honest and pretty insightful. The thing I liked was that Lily doesn’t skip any of the moments in her life that society would consider to be shameful. She discusses all facets in a way that is vulnerable and accepting — even though she is told to be ashamed.
It’s the perfect coming of age novel that I reckon is relevant now, and will continue to be relevant at whatever point in your life you decide to read it again - I keep recommending it to everyone. It made me realise that people fuck up in life, and that’s alright. You should read it!
goodbye for now!
